Improv Team Jam sign ups
Calling all Sacramento improv teams! Come take part in our team jam and get some stage time. Sign up your team to perform a ~10 minute set. New teams, seasoned teams, duo teams, and all teams welcome!
Sign up your team to perform a ~10 minute set (set times depend on the number of teams that show up). This will be a good chance to get some time on stage with your team in front of a friendly audience made up of the community.
DEADLINE: The deadline to sign up for this show is June 11th, end of day!

Saturday, June 21st at 9 PM. This show is approximately 1 hour long

WJ Geery Theater, 2130 L St, Sacramento, CA 95816
ACCESSIBILITY:
The entrance and audience area of the WJ Geery Theatre is wheelchair accessible. The bathroom is located upstairs. Please let us know if you need accommodations and we will do our best to support you. The show may contain bright lights and loud sounds. Ages 15+ recommended; discretion advised.
TICKETS:
$15, general admission. Performers get in for free; there is no fee to perform.

What’s an Improv Jam?
Picture a bunch of musicians huddled together in a garage, each one adding a funky bass line, a spur-of-the-moment guitar solo, or a snappy drum fill until they create a brand-new tune on the spot. That’s exactly the vibe of an improv jam—except instead of instruments, you’ve got your imagination, a stage, and a roomful of fellow performers. And your “music” is all about creating funny or heartfelt scenes out of thin air.
An improv jam is basically a casual get-together where folks try out improvisational theater. No big show, no fancy stage lights—just a bunch of people playing games, making scenes, and having a blast. It’s an open, friendly environment designed for everyone from total newbies to improv pros.
